Learn more about the interesting history of our beautiful town through a walk on the "Paths of Kolan’s Past." Enjoy historical stories about Kolan with expert guidance from history professor Ivo Oštarić. The well in Kolansko polje dates back to ancient times, and its water flowed by free fall into the Roman city of Cissa (Caska). The package includes: entry for the BLUE or GREEN trail, welcome drink, greeting snack, expert guidance, and a visit to the Gligora cheese dairy with a cheese tasting.

Transfer to Velebit Nature Park (1h15). The tour begins in Baške Oštarije, a small village where we start a circular walk, enjoying views of monumental stone massifs and paths through vast meadows. Crossing different peaks and ridges allows us to see the entire central and southern part of the Velebit Park, and if the weather is clear, also the Adriatic Sea and its islands. Picnic during the hike. Return to the island.

Walking time 5h30 / Distance 12 km / Ascent 716 m.
